This author was raised by a single mother "On the System" (welfare) in not the best of situations, but worked hard to to become a reasonably successful entrepreneur. With that said, I have seen both sides of society and have developed a very unique perspective on the issues that are impacting our country. We all hear it everyday, "Things just aren't right anymore". In fact, one can argue that you'd have to be completely ignorant to not see that American Citizen Freedoms are under Attack
I currently live in the state of New Hampshire, whose state motto is "Live Free or Die". It's a wonderful state that has a history of unwavering support of the Amended U.S. Constitution as well as a rock-solid New Hampshire State Constitution. But even New Hampshire's Patriotic climate seems to be giving way to mismanaged budgeting and special interest influence.
As I grew into adulthood, I strongly "bought into" the American Dream, and, as such, I've tried to be the best Patriotic US citizen that I could be. On top of dedicating over 11 years of service to the State and Federal Government (as both a former Soldier and a Law Enforcement Officer). I'm an active entrepreneur, and to this day, I continue to working hard at creating private jobs and positive contributions to both society and democracy.
Anyway, as time has passed, I've come to realize that, the harder you try to do the "right thing", the more government becomes involved in your life (taxes, regulations, "Robin Hood Economics", group rights over individual rights, privacy invasions, more taxes, etc.). Being economically and operationally minded, I tend to look deep into things that interest me and the more facts I learned about the state or our country and how we got here, the less Patriotic I began to feel. That's a real Suck feeling, so I started this campaign to look into fixing our country's problems.
So, the bottom line is that everything we've ever believed in is fading away to so-called "Progressive" Influence (Those supporting increased government intervention in place individual liberties and responsibilities). It may sound silly these days, but I still believe in the vision of our county's founding fathers. I also believe that innovation, not Federal Regulation will foster a climate of economic prosperity. Despite the election trends of the past 5 presidential terms, we are NOT a nation of blind sheep. I know that with some basic education, general foresight and some reasonable corrective action, we can fix this socio-political experiment known as the United States of America.
